Medical Massage

  • Reduces Swelling:
Lymphatic Drainage Massage is used to reduce edema. Through light strokes focused on the lymphatic system, the massage can clear blocked junctions, move stagnant lymph and ultimately increase the flow within the system.  Your lymphatic system moves waste products out of your body.
  • Reduces Pain:
Massage helps relieve muscle and connective tissue tension, resulting in pain relief.
  • Increases Circulation:
By increasing circulation to all areas of your body, it helps recovery by bringing needed nutrients, blood and plasma as well as clearing out waste.

  • Reduces Scarring:
Cross friction techniques are used to flatted and align the tissues.  Lymphatic Drainage Massage is used to reduce tension on the sites.
  • Less Stress:
Massage is known to increase serotonin and dopamine levels, while decreasing cortisol levels, which make you feel less stressed.  When you feel less stressed your body’s ability to heal improves dramatically.
